Our studio is situated in a 100sqm semi-basement of a canal house along the Amstel river. It houses workspace for 8 independent creatives. It’s a great place to create your best work yet, enjoy coffee breaks in the sun, or loose yourself in heated foosball battles.

The People
More important than having an inspiring place to work from, is sharing it with inspiring people. All members at Staalkade 6 are independent creatives from different walks of life, with a wide variety of skills and expertise. This is the co in co-working space.
The Neighborhood
When we say we’re based in the heart of Amsterdam, we really mean the heart of Amsterdam. The Staalkade lies right in the center of the so called ‘Grachtengordel’. Despite being in the middle of a busy city, this dock is surprisingly tranquil and is catching the sun from early in the morning until late in the afternoon.
